Books and Beyond...February 1-29
Reading Can Take You Around The World! The annual Books & Beyond program is about ready to start. Beginning February 1-29, SIS students, parents siblings and teachers may participate in this program. Each participant will need to read 240 minutes to complete each level. There are three levels in the program. Prizes will be awarded after every completed level to each SIS student. Each class with 100% participation and 100% completion of all three levels will be rewarded with an ice cream sundae party! For general information, printable log and online log view here. Logs will need to be submitted after each completed level. Of course, we cannot have a successful program without your help. Please consider volunteering to help collect and track results. Kids Express...Spring registration This is a program sponsored by SEPTA where kids have fun learning about making and being a good friend. If you are looking for a small group activity where your child can interact with friends and learn positive social skills, then Kids Express is for you. Beginning February 2, the group meets weekly on Thursdays so click here here for all the information and how to register.

SIS Student Directories have been distributed as of 11/17/11. In order to receive a student directory you MUST be a PTA member. If you think you should have received a copy and didn't please contact Karen Collura at kmak47@optonline.net. If you would like a copy but have not yet joined the PTA, click here. Once your membership is processed you will receive a copy.

Box Tops for Education We are off to a good start. So far this year we raised $879.00 with your help in simply clipping box tops off your household products.

Collection Dates for this year are Feb 1, Apr 2, Jun 1 View here for the latest results and all the information about how you can contribute.

TO EARN MORE BOX TOPS: Shop electronically through www.boxtops4education.com and box tops will be credited to our account>

*Clip box tops (neatly)-do not include expired tops.

*Send them in an envelope with the following information: Box Tops, Child's Name, Teacher, Total # of Box Tops

*Prize drawings after each collection for each grade.

*Year end ice cream party will be awarded to the class in each grade who collects the most.

Book Dedications to Your School Libraries are Wonderful Gifts!

Your donation to the Book Dedication program will be used to purchase a new book(s) for the school library of your choice— Primrose, Intermediate, Middle or High School.
