Thank you for your interest in the Somers
PTA Council e-mail distribution list.
The Somers PTA Council wants to provide you with the most recent PTA
information. Thus, our e-mail system has been borne!
E-mail will be sent judiciously and about PTA matters only -- both
routine and emergency.
We will do our best to only give you the information appropriate for
you! This is why we will ask for your child's/children's name and
current grade in school. We promise that we will NEVER share this
information with anyone except within the PTA for the purpose of PTA
business.
If you choose to subscribe, you will be asked for the following
information:
your first and last name
your child's/children's first and last name/s and grades in school
your e-mail address
You will also be asked for your interests. Here, you select your
children's grades in school or, if you are a SHS student, you can tell
us in this section as well. Also here are options for district
administrators, school staff members, and community members. If
you have children who are not yet old enough for school, there's a spot
for you, too!

Privacy Statement
The Somers PTA Council and each of its member PTAs (Primrose, SIS, SMS,
SHS, and SEPTA PTAs) are committed to protecting your privacy. This
commitment extends to all the personal information you provide when you
subscribe from our site. We promise that, under no circumstances will we
share, sell, or disclose your information to third parties in any form,
for any purpose, at any time unless we have your explicit consent. This
includes, but is not limited to, your email address. Information
collected on this web site is available only to PTA officers and
committee chairs who are conducting PTA business.
Online Forms and Surveys
At times the Somers PTA will run online surveys asking for specific
contact or demographic information, such as what areas of the site
interest you and how you use the PTA website(s). Completing these forms
and surveys is always optional. These forms and surveys are created in
order to afford the Somers PTA community an easier way than mail or
telephone to communicate and to improve the website for its users.

The Somers PTA Council and its member PTAs provide links to other sites.
The Somers PTA is not responsible for the privacy practices or contents
of these other sites.
Change Policy
From time to time we may revise this privacy notice. If we make a
material change, we will post a notice on the PTA Council website and
notify you by e-mail, at which time you'll be able to "opt out" of these
new practices by contacting us.
